Lots of valuable advice in this -- anxiously awaiting Part 2 (and absolutely love the photo journal style of this post, the images really bring me into the journey).
I haven't been to any of these places; every time I go to India, I just visit family but I really must make the effort. Well, apparently I was in Delhi as a six-month-old, but that doesn't count.
Whereabouts are the family? I was the same with the Caribbean by the way. I just kept myself in Trinidad and almost never saw the other islands. I never saw the point. I have some regrets about that now.
I used to live in Chandigarh. Looks a city transformed, floods are a shock in that city. Also, really love the photos.
How long were you there for?
2 years - used to go work in Baddi, Himachal so traveling up the mountains everyday. Was a fun time.
OH! Is that where the factory was located? I remember seeing Baddi on a map and thinking I wonder if that’s where the factory used to be.
Yeah there are a lot of factories over there. Tax subsidies and all that. Was before Reckitt, but I think Reckitt also has sourcing from there.

Love the photos and your way with words!

I think it's one of those things, where you think, "Oh I'll see it later" - especially if you're from there.
Bombay!
