Honestly about 2.5 weeks! Reviewing menus, going through photos that I have, thinking seriously about whether somewhere should or should not be on the list. There’s probably about another dozen restaurants that I need to go back to just to verify whether they should go on the list. Also, the risk of recency bias and trying to level that out.
This was also loitering in my mind but I’ve not been for maybe 2 years so I couldn’t put it down in all good conscience. But… this is a trigger to go back. I’m very proud of what the guys have achieved.
We took my parents a couple of weeks back. Its really exceptional. We must have had 10 things and not a single miss. So many on your list ive not tried - so thanks again!! This just became my go to list :)

One that rarely makes lists, that I've never had a bad meal at, is Slab Test Kitchen at Mercato. They keep rotating clever specials but it's just hidden away and out of the spotlight. Chef Omar definitely deserves a shout out.
There were a few that wife and I liked, but we don't exactly have a very discerning palate. And we haven't tried any of these more than twice to know about consistency. Hard when there's 13000 other places to try 😅

Orfalli Bros for me is probably my favourite place in the City right now.

I wavered on this one as I had not been for a year but I agree with you. The lunch and dinner are stronger than the breakfast options to memory.

Zagol I went to maybe 12 months ago. So I wanted to go back before voting confidently.
Brix is way overdue. I love Carmen’s food based on collabs I’ve been to.
