Great post Liam. You know, I actually never considered it like that, that social media is a popularity contest. I don't know why, it does seem pretty obvious now that you mention it. But you've just opened up a whole new perspective for me, and I thank you for it.
I guess it's, be the change you want to see in the world. Social media has become such an effort -- long gone are the days where it was actually fun. Like you, I have a similar approach: IG when necessary, Substack as a place for my work to live, and -- yes, I know you hate it -- but LinkedIn as another place where I find work and industry folks.

2: Implement additional tools into these platforms to bring credibility as a metric for performance
3: LinkedIn is fine, I just don’t think people should reveal their whole life on their. It’s not a personal networking platform and people have become real blowhards on there.
