Italy as a tonic for 2025. Lido 84 has still got it. MOOD MUSIC. The Cullinan first impressions. Dinner, revisited. A collection of writings, and a teaser 🫖
Wow, Liam. TWO mentions! I'm honoured, thank you. Meanwhile, the minute I read "I left my passport at home" I could feel my blood pressure rising in agonised sympathy. The rest of the read was quite soothing though. Looking forward to the news on your next chapter.
Oh my goodness Liam! I think your airport experience was a smidge more stressful than my final day of holiday meltdown about not wanting to leave and having a job interview on my first day back (also featuring car breakdowns). Italy sounds like it compensated for that initial stress thankfully. And the mention is much appreciated! ❤️
I was kicking myself for the first week I can tell you. The upside is that we’ve learnt to always take the afternoon flight because actually it suits us a lot better than the early morning one and it means we have a much more relaxed entry into Italy. We also discovered that there is an enormous child’s play area in the business lounge and that alone was worth the delay!!

Honestly your articles are so full of substance, I love reading them. One of my favourites on Substack ♥️
More of that talk and I may even stop having impostor syndrome every time I write something... xx

These are important lessons to learn so I’m glad there were some silver linings to the ordeal!
Thanks so much for the mention, really appreciate it.
My pleasure!
Uuuuffff, what a nightmare you had at the start of the trip! Sounds like the travel and food experiences helped make up for it.
Looking forward to the changes! Onwards and upwards!
